My Approach

I have a warm, interactive approach and hope to gain an understanding of your perspective through engagement and by asking in-depth questions. I was trained in the psychodynamic process but through experience I incorporate self-psychology, the cognitive-behavior approach and hypnotherapy in order to come up with an individualized plan for each client. I try to create a safe, inviting space for you to grow and talk about your concerns.

We may also find through our work together that adjunct methods such as exercise, diet, spirituality, meditation and visualization techniques may also improve your quality of life. If so, we will work as a team to incorporate these to meet your specific needs and progress to your goals.

No Surprises Act & the Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under a new 2022 law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask me, or any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about the Good Faith Estimate program you can contact www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
